Amazing Food Frogs Restaurant in Kuranda has amazing food! I had a vegetable salad that was delicious and my husband had breakfast for lunch which he also really enjoyed. Staff were quirky, friendly and efficient. A lovely atmosphere. highly recommend.

Very Nice We had come up to Kuranda on the Train and pop into Frogs for a coffee. The service was great and so was the coffee. Well worth a visit too.

The food was awesome and the service was great, and fast. A beautiful spot on the edge of the rainforest.

Great Food, Reasonable Prices Menu offers something for everyone...burgers, fresh fish, international cuisine, and even kangaroo for those interested in trying something new. Freshly made dishes and comfortable seating in the heart of the heritage market, just outside the zoo.

Quick visit, found crocodile curry We paid a quick visit to Frogs while trying to placate a hungry one year old and it was a pretty good choice.

We had come up to Kuranda on the cable cars and were heading back down on the train so had a few hours to spare. After a walk around the town we found ourselves at Frogs enticed by the topsy turvy menu of weird combinations.

Sitting on a table away from the busy dining deck we were happy when two of the local lizards came to say hello.

Barramundi Fish burger was excellent, big serving and extremely filling, good value for money. As a 'side' we also spied crocodile curry which we couldn't leave without trying. This was super tasty. Even our one year old had a little. Not overly spicey but a great way to serve crocodile meat.

Service was a little rushed, not very personalised but over all the food did what it needed too and filled us up for the train journey back.

Super fast and very very good! We went here for lunch before entering bird world - the food came out super quick and was oooo so good! I would definitely come here again, the service was lovely (the lady was very nice to us & our 2 young kids). We both had BLAT burgers and kids shared fish & chips, the sizes were perfect and very well priced too 🙂 There is a lovely lizard that comes to entertain the kids on the adjoining roof too!

Lunch before the Butterfly Sanctuary I’m local (Cairns) and came with a friend who was doing the Scenic Railway. We chose Frogs for lunch as it was close to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary where we heading.

Frogs was good but so are most of the other local eateries catering to the day tourists (except Rainforest View, which is one to avoid). We did like the vintage gear scattered around the large restaurant space (old typewriters and the like). There was indoor and outdoor seating with lush green plant-life to look out onto which was nice.

I ordered the steak burger (“no ragged piece of beef but prime quality rib fillet, thick and tender served with caramelized onion jam, on a toasted bun, crispy French fries, and a salad garnish”) which was very nice. Prices were quite reasonable for some items and expensive for others but these Kuranda cafes do have a captive audience after all.

We didn’t spot any frogs, but water dragons are a common site.
