Lively lunch Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed what we had but not too many healthy options on the menu - lots of burgers etc I opted for smashed avacado on toast and my husband had a salad. Food quality was good, service was good and it was fine. It was extremely busy and tables were hard to come by at 1300

The best lunches around- good coffee and Water Dragons for company. Good place to stop if visiting the butterfly house of bird land or koala gardens

The Name is Only a Name It was a pretty famous restaurant in the Kuranda Heritage Market. The arrangement of the dining area reminds us of the old arrangement of dining rooms. One of its famous selection in the menu is the Barramundi Burger which is describe as grilled in a toasted bun with tomato and lettuce in tartare sauce and lined up with crispy fries. For those who are in the brink of starvation, the Barramundi Wild Caught could essentially fill in a wailing stomach. But don’t be misled, they have plenty of selections to choose from.

Amazing staff!! We had a lovely lunch and nice drink, but what we loved the most was the hardworking and friendly staff! They served us very quickly and made sure everything was how we wanted it. I've been in Australia for a year now and so far the best staff!!

Wonderful friendly staff and resident lizard! I only had a mango smoothie here (which is my new favourite drink - delicious!) but I very much enjoyed my visit. All the staff I encountered (of which there were lots) were cheerful, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great and the whole ‘feel’ of the place is so tropical and relaxed.
I was especially excited as a large lizard (water dragon?) was hanging out under my chair and he was happy for me to take pictures and chat to him.
I highly recommend this place and might go up there again before my holiday is over and Kuranda is a lovely village to wander in.
