What Our Clients Say

5 star ratingQuick lunch at this small restaurant Stopped in for a quick lunch meal after arriving in Kuranda by the Skyrail - what a buzz that ride was. We found the Frogs restaurant at the back of one of the many craft markets. It looked small however, the Dragon deck looked good so we found a table. The deck is well named with loads of Water Dragon lizards running around. I had the bacon cheese burger not expecting anything special but can honestly say it turned out to be one of the best burgers I have ever had. My wife had a very enjoyable margherita pizza. Recommended not just for the good food but also the wildlife.

5 star ratingGreat ambience Looking to view wildlife while dining? Look no further. The geckos look like they’re begging but just look that way. They’re cute, and harmless, and the kids love them.

The food was very tasty, and the staff are extremely helpful. My wife requires Gluten Free meals and they went out of their way to make sure they prepared her food correctly.

Super nice people.

5 star ratingDay trip A day trip on the steam train led us to Kuranda. We had a wander around the village then decided we wanted something to eat. We came across Frogs. So glad to stopped here. We had crocodile and green apple curry, chick pea and spinach and it was amazing. Keep up the great cooking guys. Our waitress was so happy. Think I would be working there its a fantastic location.

5 star ratingOne of the best spots in Kuranda. I'm a local but still enjoy breakfast or lunch here. Terry and Vicki have been running Frogs for nearly 40 years and experience plays off! Good food and coffee, good selection of beers and wines and fresh juices. Great service and a relaxed spot to spend a while...with local native water dragons running around quite happy to share their space! Thanks guys for always looking after us...

4 star ratingThe menu has a very local food flavour to it Frogs specialises in local food. I had a really good crocodile curry in the Indian style, and they do a really great tasting plate of about four or five local meats with accompaniments. The water dragons that frequent the place make it just that bit special too.
